Firefly LED Lighting was founded in 2009. Recognizing that there was a huge need for bright, reliable, efficient LED lighting, we took a look at the various reasons that existing LED lighting was insufficient or would fail early. The United States Department of Energy specifically stated that thermal design and driver circuit design were the primary causes of failure in LED lights.
Firefly LED Lighting built several original prototypes, and we tested our theories that thermal design could be achieved through a modular technology. We are striving to make our LED products as environmentally friendly as possible.
One of our primary goals is to make a difference in the world as engineers. Our team does this by creating unique products and services. We hope that Firefly LED Lighting will make a difference for you and for our environment. We hope, too, that our LED technology and products will help prevent brownouts and blackouts and, in some small way, make a difference for future generations.
